Saluting Sergeant Hogman for a job well done and he will truly be missed as he retires. He served his community with a style like no other and I was glad to know this man for his honor above no others! Wishing him the very best in his next venture of life.

Yes Chief I have had the honor of serving with him on a couple committees but with the loss when he ran for Sheriff I'm not sure he would
do the CCC chair?? He would of made a great Commander for the Sheriff's Dept., sorry Lucas for saying that but it's time for a change.

After this term, it might be nice to see to see a new sheriff in town.. Lucas has been around a long time but its time for a change at that spot.

I look at how successful and professional our Sheriff's Deptartment is, and the lack of controversy, and I think I'll stick with the Sheriff I know...
Take a look at Multnomah County, and Bernie Giusto for a good example of how good we have it...

I'd also say look at VPD and the lack of hellish scandals there.. Its nice to not have that type of unwanted attention in our corner of the state..

Here, here! I've lost count of the scandals over in the Portland PD aand MCS over the last ten years, and in all that time we have had relatively few controvercial Police involved incidents on this side of the river. There are notable exceptions, but they are beyond the scope of this discussion...

I think I remember one person at VPD that had a problem reported via the columbian.. But a major or killer political scandal? Don't remember any..
Maybe Karma can remember...

Are you asking me to speak ill of the folks in blue or brown?? Lots of dirt but one may need one of those folks?? Silence is the code??
