View Full Version : Dave Hurt Named Contracts Manager at Port of Vancouver USA

VANCOUVER, Wash. – Dave Hurt has joined the Port of Vancouver’s facilities department as contracts manager. His responsibilities will include writing and reviewing contracts, bids, proposals, and assisting and managing small works and architect and engineer rosters.

Hurt served in the U.S. Marine Corps as a logistics officer from 1989-1993. He worked at Columbia Credit Union as their general services manager where he oversaw inventory, purchasing, contract management and facilities. Most recently he worked for C-Tran where he managed the construction of new facilities and infrastructure.

A native of Brush Prairie, Wash., Hurt has earned multiple bachelor’s degrees in education from Concordia University and in history from the University of Washington. In 2004 he completed a master’s degree in public affairs from Washington State University.

An outdoor enthusiast, Hurt likes to go camping and hiking and he enjoys attending events at Esther Short Park and Farmer’s Market.

Hurt is a graduate of Leadership Clark County and serves on Camp Bonneville’s Citizen Advisory Group. He and his wife Jeannette are still newlyweds, having been married for one year.
