Just in time for Christmas, our Oregon kicker check (based on 2006 Income) came Saturday, so we have a couple of hundred bucks to play with for the Holidays. At least Oregon makes the attempt to return surpluses from whence they came...which is more than we can say for Washington...

Again, at least Oregon acknowledges when they overcharge taxpayers, and actually return it to all fo them, even the out of State filers.

I love the idea of giving back extra taxes, though it reminds me having a back account and being paid interest on money I paid in taxes. Hope that Olympia does finally do some thing like a kicker check.. Wonder if this could be a new initiative?
