yah. And that's because Gresham's Mayor is about ready to order constuction of flaming barricades across the Max tracks at the Gresham City Line, because of the violent riff raff who continue to run rampant at the Max stops. Fareless Square has been blamed for more problems on Max over the years than any other single issue I can recall. Too many people abuse it, and the vagrants move freely, literally, all over the City because of it, and it does much to contribute to the mass disorder and petty crime on and around the trains.

Something has to give...and soon.

I'd say politically its the same over on the west side with the same beatings that have been happening over in Gresham are now hitting Beaverton/Hillsboro and Forest Grove areas.

According to the article i posted, Clackamas is watching this very closely and the politicians are ready to put armed officers permanently on those trains to control problems.

I'd say if this problem is controlled soon, it could kill the LR on the Columbia River Crossing for about 10 more years until it again shows up in some package form.
