What ya looking at to add to your yards this year?? I will be adding some new Clemmies, Hoyas, Daturas and yes lots of new exciting Brugmansia!! ;D

I set something like 600 spring bulbs last Fall, and some of them were already poking up before the snow hit, so Spring should be pretty spectacular this year.

I also did a major split on a whiskey barrel ful of Bee Balm, and spread rootlets out all over the new beds I carved out last summer. My backyard is going to be hummingbird central when the weather warms up..

I have to finish installing my micro-sprinklers in my back flowerbeds, and I'll be ready to water everything efficiently. I'm also looking at replacing the fence between me an my neighbors on the other side; it's really old and has not stood up to the wind this winter....

My neighbor over the back fence and I have talked about making a commando-run down to McMinnville this Spring, to a greenhouse he knows, to score inexpensive annuals. Shorty's here in town has outstanding stock, but it's so expensive as to be prohibitive if you need 10 or 12 flats (like I do!) of flowers for mass plantings. We figure to save about half if we buy right from the greenhouse.

With as many flowerbeds as we have, I need a truckload by myself...

I have to order up a couple of yards of bedding muclh this Spring too. The roses are due for some fresh mulch...
