8pm till 11pm.. (on Comcast Channel 10 KOPB or Channel 26 kCTS, check local listings for your PBS stations if your not in the Vancouver/Portland or Seattle television markets.)
This has been playing and commercialized over KCTS and KOPB for the past three months.. It looks really awesome.
Do have to warn it may contain graphic depictions of death, war, torture or many other things, along it may not be suitable for young kids, so please use common sense.
This is going to be a miniseries of about 5 or 6 sections. Looks like a World War 2 Chronicles and decent thing to watch about the history of it.

What's your take on this WB? Are we talking about another Normandy assault ala "Private Ryan"?
While we're on this, I hear there is a series under production for HBO, by the same people who brought us "Band of Brothers"... to be called "Pacific". That should be some kind of series (9-10 parts) considering all the battles they need to cover; Midway, Corregador, Saipan, Iwo, Truk, Bataan; that list goes on and on...I have not heard who is playing MacArthur, Nimitz, Marshall, Roosevelt or any of the other major roles yet...

It was a nice little thing. But they did a repeat of it after it was done.. So it ended up being about 6 or more hours running on KOPB.. Stopped watching when I realized it was just repeating the same thing..
Not sure what HBO"s thing is going to be like.. Sounds like they are going to try to do the same type of biopic (not sure the term is..) as ken burns does.
Do want to see Flags of our Fathers and Band of Brothers... Sounds like some decent movies to watch.
People should know most of these movies are not for kids.. So don't take them or watch it in front of them, unless you want to teach your kids a lesson about what happened.
Did you think "The War" was too graphic?

Pretty compelling images tonight of a nation on it's knees in prayer, on the morning everyone woke up to the Invasion of Europe....
The quietest Fourth of July ever...
