Rub your eyes and see if you see what I see?

More beautiful flowers that your neighbors don't get to see?

Hey Buff, I now have two neighbors that love to set and watch me garden, I'm thinking that a solid fence around karma's gardens is the next steps that need taking. I would think they would get off their fat you know what and do something with their yards?????

Ask them for advice in gardening and be a good neighbor?

Now you could always rebuild that nice fence you spoke of to Chief and I.

We are seriously thinking of tarping the west fence so we get some privacy due to the guy cut a window in his privacy fence and still looks this way??? Ya got to see how stupid these folks are!!

Do the tarp thing if you must.. But you have to admit, he's enjoying the view of your flowering garden.

Have you ever been interested in getting into a "Discussion" about gardening?

But like you said, you and your husband do deserve privacy.

Oh Buff, I know more about my neighbors than they know about me!! Which ones would you like to discuss?? As for gardening, we used to be neighborly and picked in to help if any neighbor needed but not anymore. We have seen our efforts be abused and when the work is done and all that said seen the project neglected well what can one say? Then you have those that see us as trying to set an example and more to the other direction and not do a thing to their yards until it's a total disaster. You have those excuses as we are gone all day at work, then they are gone all weekend for sports or whatever and the yard gets neglected. Being that we do have a business license and that is for plants don't you think our yard should out shine those around us??? One neighbor that loves to tell others how to keep their yards, well all one has to do is look at how he scalpes his yard so it turns brown, doesn't mow but once every two months and allow the dandelions to go to seed, what can one say?? I love the fact that he this spring has a young kid come fertilize his yard and then did nothing but scalp the grass so it would turn brown with the heat.
This is the same guy that would rather sit in his chair and watch me and enjoy the benefits of my yard??? Then you go to the other side and it's all trees that are so diseased what can one say? We watched the over grown apple tree split due to the weight of apples last year and it laid in their yard for months. You saw what damage our huge tree did and how our yard was back in shape in less than 6 months when landscaper friends said it would take a couple years. So you think I want to help those that have no clue and get to know my neighbors . . . . . . . sorry it's not going to happen and if you don't have the picture as to why, come on out!! These folks always have their hands out and not a one came to help when we needed help. Matter of fact they were in the way when they came out to gaulk. Sorry Buff but one knows when to not be neighborly in the world of give me or me first???

Like you said in your post karma, They should not complain if they are not willing to work to keep their place up or hire some one to do it. If Clark County was a place where neighbors helped neighbors, that might be a different story.

Do believe some people on our forum do maintain those type of relationships with neighbors, but not all have that.
