ABERDEEN, Wash. — Summer's over; it's time to clean up Washington beaches.
Volunteers in four-wheel-drive vehicles will hit the beaches tomorrow from Ilwaco to Moclips for "Operation Shore Patrol."
Since the annual event was started 36 years ago, volunteers have removed tons of debris.
Volunteers can show up at Ocean City State Park at 8 a.m. tomorrow for beach cleanup assignments.
**SCHNIPP**
Need an excuse to head to the coast this weekend?? This is a great reason to walk the beach and help clean it up. That's a perpetual project as we all know, but twice a year there is a concerted effort. Oregon has SOLV this weekend, and this is how Washinton adresses the same problem.
Just do it...
