Holy cow! I think you should stack those up in a "champagne pyramid" configuration right on the property line. I figure you can get a good twenty foot tall bucket pyramid going and it's not a "permanent" structure, so you're not violating setbacks.

Not a bad idea....ten yards of sand, delivered, is fairly cheap, and if you fill each one first, you could stack them pretty high....make the pyramid three buckets wide, and you could go three buckets high, and so forth...

Call it "Modern Art", submit an application for funding (to cover the cost of the sand...) to the NEA, and you can't lose...

Why do I see a future pantent in Karma life time for Neighbor Toture testing device? (for a pyramid on their fence line..)

So what are you going to plant in them karma?

You guys are a hoot this AM!! I love the idea and it would fit in the NA just great!! Plus I have an open area that could use for a awsome fence and each could be planted with a cascading plant material. I could paint each one in a different color to do a rainbow effect too! I can do this as art and add my pink birds!!

Buff, DH drilled holes in them this weekend as some of us Brugmansia folks are moving towards these in planting our trees. They are easier to move with an appliance dolly and is one sinks them into the ground, easier to dig up.

So will all of these colorful plants attract a certain newspaper to your door for free photos? Wonder how long it will take for them to hightail it to your door and want an interview?

With the right budget, WB and I will be glad to come over to your house and build you a Medievel trebuchet that is capapble of launching one of those five gallon buckets full of sand, and throwing it accurately at whatever distance you specify...

And sand is only one idea of what to fill them with...

Buff, I'm still awaiting for the to correct their errors in their article on Brugmansia & Datura. The last time I had a reporter come a knocking, they were only going to stay a few minutes. Are you laughing?? They left with several doc. that they didn't find down at the County. Let's be truthful here, I sure would rearrange my schedule to take to any of them!
Chief, just how far would a 5 gal bucket of sand travel with that thing?? Maybe we could figure out a new way of getting some folks to travel if we aimed that just right???

Chief

The correct question is, how far does it need to travel? Why use a .22 cal rifle if a 16" gun is called for??

Karma: I thought Chief was the Ringleader of the Columbian PR Campaigns here at Clarkblog.org? ;-D <evil grin> I'll sit back while Chief provides emotional, mental and field observations while building that fine piece of Neighborhood contraption he is so eager to get started.

Also he can the the Felida smoke signals going to attract just the right neighbors you want to stay? (smoke signals usually means bbq Chiefs way..) Chief does smoke signaling "JUST RIGHT?" <another inside evil laugh..>

Chief: If you have the will and the way, Don't think it would be too hard to do.. Except come up with cash to finance your evil intent and ideas. Should we add some kitty litter mixed in soiled kitty litter cat cakes to your flight over the fence idea?

Gosh Chief, there are so many directions to aim this at . . . . which one should I select first???

Chief are you offering other ideas on what also might be stuck inside one of those nice buckets like Alcoa's finest dirt and sand from the Port they are eagerly wanting to get rid of?

Since Fall is upon us, perhaps a pumpkin cannon is indicated. I can download some ballistic calculation spreadsheets from the 'net, and if we have the exact range to the target, who knows what we can do?? The only question is"

Propane or compressed air for power??

;D

How about an electric shoot with turbolift from a power supply of Karma's choosing?

If you need compressed air, Vancouver's mayor doesn't live too far from you Karma... Just invite him over with some cake and cookies and share him home videos of your "life and times of Felida.." Let the steam roll off if you need some "compressed air.."

Classical does stop me from doing dumb things.. Don't think it will stop most people now.
