Does the CC Fair have a picture or artist category you could enter your photos?

WB, I have boycotted the CC Fair for the past two years. But we have several walls of photos that my son and I have submitted at the fair. I think there is only a couple without ribbons but DS has the Grand Champ and Best of Show for one year, let me add that was the first year he entered. As for the artistic drawing I do, well the CC Fair won't all them.

Like I stated that was several years ago when both DS and I entered for a few years, lots of ribbons won and on the walls. We both have an artistic eye when it comes to plants and that is what won the ribbons. DS was off to the coast this past weekend as he was photographing the car show with friends. This is what he is into now.

So you and the hubby were winning ribbons every year, so you tired of that action?

WB, that would be the youngest son not husband whom is good with the camera also but doesn't enter. As son stated if you win top honors where else can you go?

Photojournalist for the columbian of course? <evil laugh..>
Ahh.. probably good to see if the son might be good to post some where he could sell his photos? webshots was a previous idea, but your son might have better ideas.
Probably better he doesn't put photos up at the fair anymore.. From your sentiments, he's won all the awards and nothing left to win.

Thanks for the laugh WB, the Columbian is small potatoes. I don't even send photos into the Columbian's photos sections anymore. Besides they can't get out the right information on some of the plants that we grow. What can one say??

Come up with our own version of online news rag with beat reporters Chief, our head screwed on and ad naseum expert, Tefen as our GiS maverick, Karma, our garden and nieghborhood nusiance collector, and of course, many other who read here can contribute wonderul stories that the local papers won't publish...
Maybe your son might like free photo spreads?
