Vote NO on the Port's 132% Property Tax Increase.
Date: August 21st, 2007
If you have not yet VOTED NO on the Port of Vancouver’s Outrageous 132% Property tax increase please do so today. If you have not yet made up your mind to vote no on Proposition #1read the headlines in Today’s Tax and Spend Cheer-leading columbian.
“Light Rail gains Support in Vancouver”
That phony poll, alone should not only make your blood boil but should make you want to send a message to all the Tax & Spend Rascals that we are tired of outrageous and unnecessary tax increases. To top it off the Port and the City Council say the reason behind all these tax increases is to bring jobs to Vancouver. Yet, the City Council hires a Tigard, Oregon Company to do their phony poll of 600 people that doesn’t even ask or tell those being polled that this latest boondoggle will only cost the taxpayers some 6 Billion dollars and daily toll bridge fees. Good Grief.
Don’t miss this opportunity to let your voice be heard. Remember the Home you save from the tax collectors may be yours.
In your spare time read Thomas Sowell's column about why Politicians raise taxes.

CDR USN (ret).
I cannot fathom for an instant, how voting "NO" on the IDD Levy will send any kind of message to anyone on City Council, other than to prove how misguided you are personally. This particular rant by Larry Patella is particularly twisted as you can see. Gramor Development and the Boise Cascade site have absolutely nothing to do with the Port of Vancouver.
Personally, I think it's time to upgrade Larry Patella's medication...
