I've been trying to ignore him, but he's off and running again...

For those who have not yet voted you only have three more days to keep the Port of Vancouver from imposing an outrageous 132% property tax increase on your home. Your no vote, in addition to leaving more money in your pockets, will also do several other things.

1. It will send a message to politicians everywhere not to raise or impose tax increases without first consulting those they (the politicians) are sworn to represent.
2. It will require the Port of Vancouver, a publicly owned business, to start behaving like a business
3. It will send a message to the Port and others that we object to being mis-lead and/or only told half-truths.
4. It will curtail the efforts of the “Local Good Ole Boy Network”. We Really Should Be Represented; Not Dictated To!!!
5. And, if you are a renter and not a homeowner, rest assured a yes vote will increase your rent and/or lease payment. if the tax levy passes.

VOTE NO ON PROPOSITION #1; THE HOME YOU SAVE FROM THE TAX COLLECTORS MAY BE YOURS.

As usual, Larry Patella is sticking to his same tired line, but with a new twist to include an insidious and outrageous rent hike, that we didn't vote on either...

And again we are supposed to vote no in order to send some kind of message to the “Local Good Ole Boy Network”. Personally I think Larry Patella is being sexist, by refusing to recognize the substatial "Local Good old Girl" network as wel. Considering the list of some of his known fanatical following of female acolytes, along with the likes of Ginger Metcalf of Identity Clark County, I would suggest that the Commander be mindful of who he fails to mention when he spins his conspiracy theories...

Sounds like he's using the Rag-o-lot service that runs around the country when some one does not like some thing and has to keep putting the same tired points through to get attention.

Comment for Larry:

Larry, stop posting this crap please? Your not helping your cause and as a voter who will be voting on the said issue, your whining train pulled out of the station months ago and no one cares?

If you really want to have an effect on this ellection, please come up with some thing new than the same tired things?

We're going to settle the question of Cascade Larry's influence on Tuesday evening. Right now I am betting that there's a lot more common sense than not here in town, and I do not see 50% +1 of the voters in the Port District siding with this nonsense or his endless nutroots ranting.

We shall see.

:-) Chief thanks for the Tin Foil Ferrett hat. Rather pointy you might say?

You correct, Tuesday night we'll know if Larry had any influence on the populace or not. Though his mispresentations do stir rounds of laughter and shakes of my head.
