Fair warning to everyone. Your membership here at Clarkblog.org is dependant upon providing and maintaining a valid e-mail address, so that we can identify any problem users. One telling sign of impending trouble is an invalid e-mail address.
Chief has informed me that he has recieved seveal undeliverable e-mail notices from several Clarkblog user accounts. I will personally look into this, and if it is found that user's e-mail accounts are inactive, those accounts will be eliminated.
Sorry to have to do this, but part of the deal when you signed up here was agreeing to abide by the rules. Phony e-mail accounts are strictly verboden here.
Fair warning has been provided. If your account turns up deactivated, it isn't my fault.

Bumping to the top. I just purged one account, and sent out several messages to what I consider suspicious e-mail addresses. If I sent you a note, please respond to it within 24 hours or your account may be suspended.
A basic requirement of membership here is a valid e-mail address. It is the only way we can positively control the driveby posters and the trolls.
Thank You for your cooperation.

Updating.
We have had a rash of either phony or inactive e-mail addresses forr several new signups here lately, and I think it's worth reinforcing our membbership rules.
Louis and I review every single new member who signs up here, and verify the legitimacy of the information that you provide. If either of us finds any evidence of a phishing attempt, commercial advertizing of any kind, annoying or obviously inappropriate usernames, or anything else that either of us feels uncomfortable about in any way, Louis will ban the user and delete the account without any warning or discussion. In fact just this morning Louis did the first IP ban here at Clarkblog at my request, because the same troll just tried to sign up again with the same obnoxious e-mail extension as someone Louis just banned a week ago.
Just so you know...this is not the first website I have ever worked, and the people who pay for and run this site really do pay close attention to who is using it, and what they do when they are here.
For the real members here, thanks for you continued vote of confidence in the site, as evidenced by your regular readings of what gets posted here. We are keeping track of the trolls for you.
