This is a killer recipe for backyard grilling...
Pull a frozen New York Strip steak or two out of the freezer, and butter them up with Chief's Bourbon-Molassas Mustard. Put them on a plate, comver it with plasticwrap and allow it to sit in the fridge to defrost. As the steaks melt, they will absorb the flavor of the mustard.
Pre-heat the grill, and get your cast-iron grate as hot as possible, and sear those steaks on both sides to med-rare. The mustard will caramelize to a nice crust that really adds a lot to the flavor of the meat. Servie immediately with a simple tomato/mozarella/fresh basil salad dressed with some good quality balsamic vinegar. A glass of Australian Yellowtail Shiraz will accent this meal nicely...
Enjoy!!
