This morning I sent Ms. Stephanie Turlay an e-mail, informing her that I could no longer support her as moderator of the City Council Debate that Clarkblog.org is sponsoring at the Firstenberg Community Center on August 15th; and that I am accepting her withdrawl as moderator, effective immediately. As the sponsor of this debate, that is my decision to make and I believe it is the right one.

I am re-opening the search for a Moderator, and will make an announcement as soon as we identify that person. In the meantime all other arrangements continue on track, and on schedule.

Thank you for your patience while we work through the details on this very big Community event.

Stout Hearts...

Chief, you need to select someone outside the City Boundaries and unbias.

If anyone still needs proof as to why it was foresight of incredible clarity that caused me to cancel the debate, all they need do is read the letters to the editor in this morning's newspaper.

I have rarely felt so exhonorated...

I thought the had some type of editorial board a couple times during the election.. (Yes, I know its just a way for them to dig up quotes for news stories that they publish later.)

Have to see if columbian will put on a debate.. Don't think I have heard of them doing that though.
