YAH!! ;D Quite a show tonite boys and girls!
The wife snagged us good seats as soon as they went on sale a while ago, and she's been looking forward to this for some time. I was a little ambivalent about seeing Bruce, but he is touring with Ricky and his Memphis Thunder band, and they are just outstanding!
It's 8 guys; three gutars, a banjo, bass (the upright kind...) one of the finest bluegrass fiddle players I've ever heard, Ricky on his mandolin and Bruce on his Steinway Grand. Ricky Skaggs plays that mandolin like a mouse on meth. He has some pretty big hands, but he can pick that thing faster than I thought possible...
Great show, and getting in and out of the amphitheater was a snap. They have it down to a decent system, everything is well marked and there are lots of guides with flashlights to direct traffic.
The other thing that struck us tonight was all of the families there with their small children. It was definitely a family night event, but I just don't know how it was possible, since people were actually there......and they....(it's hard to say this in public without shoicking so many of you)....they were actually BUYING and DRINKING BEER!!

It was a great night for a concert, and it was an outstanding show all the way around!
