It just keeps getting better!!

Thank God for tivo! This week's episode was superb! The special effects keep getting better as well. When they flashed the Galactica into existance, and dropped it straight down, launching vipers, and jumped just before it burned up....I was amazed...

I was skeptical about whther they could really pull off a decent job on this without being as campy as the original TV show was, and they have not disappointed me yet. Not once.

Oh no, missed it again! But again I have 24 to watch before Jan. so I get caught up there. I'm thinking I'll wait until it comes out on DVD so I can watch the series in one sitting without commercials.

I was totally skeptical about the entire Battlestar Galactica idea when I first heard about it, because the original '60s television show was so unbearably campy and stereotyped to be almost beyond salvage. The only good thing about the original was the incredible special effects, and that I think was the draw, but given the horrible amatuerish quality of some of the SciFi channel movies, I had little hope that the series would succeed.

But We watched all of Season 1 of BSG, and have been hooked ever since...

Now, instead of relying only on models, Battlestar Galactica's production crew are using some very high quality computer animation to augment the the detailed sets, and the entire concept has been significantly overhauled, updated, and made a lot more Adult in content along with a very sharp and serious edge...

And yah, Number Six is most definitely a "Guy Thing", although what she sees in that wormy, oily Gaius Baltar is beyond me.

The good news is that there are many copies....

By your command....

It's a good balance between my wife and I; she tolerates me watching BSG, and doesn't get offended when I retreat to the computer while she watches Grey's Anatomy (gag!!)...

Thanks Chief for the gag, while I gag with ya on that one. Well off to slumber land as I have that early Monday commute across that lovely bridge in seeking the employment in lalala land of OR since there isn't a good paying job on this side of the bridge any more. Get your popcorn ready for Monday night! ;D

I think it's fascinating that Gsius Baltar has a phantom Six floating around in his head, and the captive Six has a phantom Gaius floating around in hers....

So let's see a show of hands: Is Gaius Baltar a Cylon or not??

So last night it appears that they killed off Starbuck...

I ain't buying it. I think we'll be seeing Starbuck again, because there is more to this than meets the eye. We're supposed to buy that the Cylons drove her to suicide?? No frackin' way!!
