Penzeys has long been a favorite of mine, and I like them even morse since they opened a store down in Clackamas. It's very close to the mall, on the far side of it. If you follow that link, it will take you to Penzey's home page, and from there you can get directions to their store.
Simply the gighest quality, and largest variety of spices and flavorings fro all over the world, and at the best prices that I have found anywhere. A dessicated vanilla bean runs $7 at Saveway; Penzeys sells fresh Madagascar beans , three for about $6.
Any time I refrerence any spice or flavoring in one of my recipes, I guarantee you will find it at Penzeys...
