I took a 750 ml new bottle, and mixed by volume 500 ml of pure raspberry juice with 250 ml of straight 100% grain alcohol. It's corked and sealed, and it should be just about right by Christmas. We'll uncork it then and give it a try.
You can do the same thing with virtually any kind of fruit juice, as long as you use grain alcohol to preserve it in the volume I described. That preserves the flavor of the fruit, and after time the flavor will mask the alcohol taste.
