We had ourselves a skyshow last night, but Heaven had little to do with it...

We had an enormous Block Party again this year, at least 50 adults and every kid within five miles, and we blew up at least half of Bomber Bros. stock by ourselves...it was a hoot!

One of the guys is making a dump run this morning, so we bagged all of the trash last night, swept the street up and stacked up a mountain of stuff to be hauled.

It didn't look at all like Beirut, more like Naples, Italy on New Years...

I was over at Lake Sutherland this past week on the 4th with Family. Suspect this might become an annual event as to how beautiful this trip and travel was..

Only thing that really spoiled the trip was the next door nieghbors that were drunk and screaming at 3am til finally one of the neighbors called the cops because of the noise.

Hope everyone had a wonderful forth with family, friends and the truest meaning of what the Fourth means.

We had a real blast in our neighborhood. There were at least 8 Dads on fireworks duty at all times, supervising, and nobody got hurt. We had a couple of close calls but disaster was averted and everyone had a lot of fun. What made it great was that the weather cooperated, and it was just gorgeous here for the 4th; a little cloudy, but that made it darker that night and the fireworks brighter...

Where I was, was on a lake with about 30 houses. Think each one had at "15" per house and you'll see how a three mile lake could become a warzone!

Its why the neighbors to our left were up until 3am screaming loud.

Reminds me of some of our political scene....
