If you don't think the attached flyer urging you to say no to Light Rail the Gravy Train is important, Just read today's headline in the Columbian.

Governor Chris, a light rail supporter, and her tax & spend crowd, (that includes our local dictatorial law makers) are now laying the ground work to increase our already outrageous taxes.

As someone who has followed the Tax and Spend Democrats for the past 30 years, The Article "STATE TAX BURDEN BELOW AVERAGE" is the beginning of a campaign to convince us that our taxes are too Low.

Watch out for those who want to enact an income tax, more special taxing districts that deny us the right to vote on tax increases, an increase in sales taxes and of course more taxes to fund Light Rail the Gravy Train.

Before you vote for anyone in the upcoming election, either incumbents or new candidates insist that they reveal their position on our right (all of Clark County) to vote on whether or not we want or need Light Rail in Clark County.

Please speak up now before you are silenced by the tax and spend crowd.

Why not add Don Benton AND Deb Wallace to your fire off email list on the subject? I have seen Deb's signs all over Eastern Clark County, so she is running as well.

Time to put some fire under some candidates Chief. Did I forget you should fire an email off to Tim Probst? Yeah, lets get them all on record with some political needle point, so they cannot later squirm out of any of this.

So people who may not know, Eastern Clark County residents are going to be in the C-tran taxing district that is being proposed to fund this light rail into Downtown Vancouver. Chief should be able to back this comment up, as he was in similar RTC and meetings I was at.

So if you really want to kill light rail, kill the taxing subdistrict that this project is going to have to find Maintenance and Operations money from.
