Pretty good campaign video from the James Campaign! Good idea putting these up on YouTube...

If only some of the County Commissioner candidates would get onboard with this idea.

?I'll agree?
With more and more voters moving online to search for their candidates (and heck, a cheap excuse to move your video's bandwidth on to Google's dime.)
And add a simple html embed into their website, one can add in their video for next to nothing. There are 100's of camera with video capabilities or one can use their Zoom cam off their computer to just this.
So really, this should be done by "ALL" Clark County candidates. Lets see your ugly mug with the important news and items. It should not take you five minutes to get the video, post it on Youtube and add it to a website.
If you can't be bothered, hire the kid next door, your neighbor, campaign aid or some computer shop to do the work? Honestly, with $25 or under webcam at best buy off your computer and google upload, this is SO not cool to do.
I'd love to see Jamie and Vanessa to do the same.

This is an excellent way to get out in front of the voters, without spending a fortune on TV ads.
If we can find any more campaign videos for any other candidates, we'll put them up as well.

He started a fateful trend that some of the national politicians like Brian Baird, Marian Cantwell and Patty Murray have been using for a few years. I've known several Republican candidates that have used this tactic very favorably and positively to let the voters here what they had to say.
Hopefully, it will become a natural extension to the local politicians and their websites.
Bandwidth is inordinately cheap nowadays. To not do a small five or ten second youtube video is a joke. Wondering why I don't see Don Benton getting one on his site?
He's a natural self-promoter? Yes Don.. where is your video?
To JJ, thanks for the video and keep it up! (from another 17th district voter other than Chief.)

Honestly, it isn't that hard to play politics with the big kids on the internet these days. You can produce these kinds of video using a camera phone if need be, and I hope some others follow suit soon...

Just saw the suggestion on one of the other threads and can't hardly disagree?
Camera phones are unique, useful gagdets and it only takes about 5 minutes to record a campaign add and about 5 more minutes to post it on the internet.
