Think we should create a CRC sticky farm? I just looked at all our stickeys and it overwhelms the forum listings.

Lets sticky or bump this up for a week to keep it up so everyone knows to show up for this community meeting.. As Chief says, be there or forever hold your silence.

Bump.. If one ride c-tran, take #3 from downtown and it will take you right to the Quay. If your from Portland, take the #4 Fourth Plain over the bridge and get off near City hall, switch to the South bound #3 to the Red Lion at the Quay.

Hoping to make it to this one.. Bet this is going to be better than a movie at Cinetopia? ;-)

Bumping...

I'll head down to the Quay around 6:00 when the tea and cookies time is over and the Public Testimony portion of the show begins. I don't plan on delivering testimony, instead I will save my comments and make them in writing.

Big turnout tonight! The ballroom at the Quay was standing room only, and even the standing room was packed. This is one of the highest attendances I've seen in a while at a CRCP event.

I did get the chance to corner Doug Ficco, the Project Director for a good ten minutes of Q&A about the financing, tolls ad such. To be fair, a lot of the questions that I have about all of this are better answered by some of the local Politicos...but Doug was forthcoming, and he is a very optimistic guy about the prospects for all of this, including ballot measures here in Clark County.

The Staff that I talked to were polite about the comments coming out of Metro, but everyone universally agrees that Robert Liberty and Co. are late to the table with their agenda.

That's about it. CVTV is there taping the testimony, if you are interested in seeing exactly what is said.

I'd say give them about 48 hours or so may Friday or next Monday for CVTV to post the video.

Going to bet that download is going to kill the webserver! :-)

If that was one of the most popular attended events, watch what the City of Vancouver's web site is like after they post the video.
