I'd love to say I'm enjoying some of the local web sites of Both parties and helping me decide who I will vote for in November or in other other elections.
For someone not to have an internet presence in one or two areas that has the highest speed Internet backbone that runs into Portland from Seattle and from the California and out to Asia along the Oregon coast, there is no reason why our local politicians do have an Internet presence in some form.
So if you know of someone running for election and you cannot seem to find them on the internet via email or a simple one page website, please direct your questions to them via phone and in person. One of the first things I would ask them is: How can I get ahold of you via the internet or email?
With todays world be so busy and a lot of the adults working two or more jobs and most voters wanting to get to know their candidates, its no longer an excuse to not have some form of connection.
I'm hoping I get to see more of our lurkers and regulars come in and post what they think of the local races. Its July right now and CRCP, LIFT, 10 year tax abatement and a whole long list of subjects that have not been even been discovered.
Honestly,. I don't feel like I want to keep rambling around here.. So what do you all think?
