Vancouver Police are searching a near the busy intersection of Southeast 164th Avenue and McGillivray Boulevard for a man who robbed a branch of Peoples Community Credit Union, 16211 S.E. 12th Court, at about 1:45 p.m. today.
The robber is described as a white male in his 20s with a thin build, light brown hair, and clean-shaven. He was wearing blue jeans with white and black windbreaker, and a white and black baseball cap. He was wearing sunglasses.
He left the credit union on foot. Police have taken up positions in the area to try to keep the robber from fleeing while a search is made.
Pretty much breaking News, just a couple of blocks from my house.
What is going on with all of the ban robberies in Clark County?? There were four guys who held up a BofA in Hazel Dell yesterday, and just a rash of others here and in Portland over the past year or so.
Really troubling, because some of these people are very bold, and some are desperate. Nobody has been hurt yet, and let's hope it stays that way...
