Now there is no excuse for any of the public not to attend a free open house meeting. If the public fails to attend these past two months of open meetings from RTC, PoV, City of Vancouver (Current First Thursday meeting?) and many others than Larry Patella, I and others HAVE NOTHING to complain about.
I'd love to see the every one there. Sorry I could not make the First Tuesday meeting but hopeto be able to make this meeting.
Sounds real FUN! And Chief, I remember I promised you to ask them LOTS of questions at this PoV event.

I blew it bigtime folks, I forgot all about the Open House last night as I simply had other things going on that took precedence.
The final Open House is still to come on Thursday, and I will certainly try to attend Commissioner Baker's Open House. My apologies to the other 2 Commissioners for allowing this to slide.

Because of my traveling schedule over the past two weeks and another trip coming up in about a week, I've been so busy..
But here is a quote from yesterday's DI..
Port’s series of open houses
concludes Thursday evening
Port of Vancouver commissioner Nancy Baker is the hostess for the final of three Port of Vancouver’s open houses, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 27, in the commons in Columbia River High School.
Port commissioners Brian Wolfe and Jerry Oliver, as well as port staff, will also be in attendance.
The open house will provide insight to such port projects as the West Vancouver Freight Access Project, development of the port’s new terminal five at the location of the former Alcoa smelter, and the port environmental programs.
Other activities will be aimed at children in attendance.
Going to try and make this one if I can. Its out near Columbia River high School and at a time where it might be hard for me to do. Guess I better get out my bus schedules and maps..
