View Full Version : Edberg joins port staff as Engineering Manager

VANCOUVER, Wash. – Monty Edberg has recently joined the facilities department at the Port of Vancouver as engineering manager.

His responsibilities include permitting, designing and construct*ing capital improvement projects at the port.

“We are thrilled to have Monty as a part of our team, and heading up our engineering efforts in house,” said Curtis Shuck, the port’s director of facilities. “Monty brings us the ability to keep our major capital projects on track, and moving forward with efficiency and effective leadership, and that will help us complete these projects on time and at the most responsible cost.”

Edberg has 15 years of engineering consulting experience, and most re*cently worked at Berger Abam Engineers, Inc., where he worked primarily on port projects.

He is a graduate of Oregon State University, with a bachelor’s de*gree in civil engineering, and also holds a master’s degree in civil engineering from Portland State Uni*versity.

Edberg lives in Beaverton with his wife Amie and two children Jared (9) and Paige (7). He spends his free time with his family wakeboarding, camp*ing and avidly attending Oregon State University athletic events.
