SEATTLE – A Seattle recycling operation that police say bought stolen metal, no questions asked, has ground to a halt after a major undercover sting.

Everbright International on Martin Luther King Way was shut down Tuesday and the owner's wife arrested.

Everbright first got the attention of police in September 2006 when detectives discovered the business was purchasing metals without a license. Over the next five months, Seattle Police and the King County Sheriff's investigators learned Everbright had become a hot spot for turning stolen metal into cash

**SCHNIPP**

They cannot throw a heavy enough book at people like this! All these people did was enable the meth heads to go steal guard rails, light poles, and anything else they can unbolt to sell for drug money.

They deserve a long time in the slammer....and I doubt they will get it.
