One of the big issues with the proposed Light Rail has been how to fund the maintenance. As Chief has pointed out, the entire county doesn't want to support a transit solution that doesn't benefit them.

It appears the preferred method is to pass a bill allowing a tax increase just within the area the transit solution will serve.

Guess it will have to wait until next year though, the legislature didn't get around to it this time.

Well guess we'll see how things work out in a year or two.

Now its going to be between Royce and Steve's vote at the LPA vote some time in the next couple of months whether this even going to go UP or Down..
