I have decided that a decent interval has passed since I responded to the letter I received from Davis Wright Tremaine, LLP on behalf of their clients, the columbian and Mr. Lou Brancaccio; and that it is decidedly in my interest to release the letter that they sent me as well as the letter that I sent them in reply.
I've never had anything to hide here, and have been very open about who I am. My e-mail addres is openly available and the Columbian even has my personal cell phone number, as Tom Koenninger has had his assistant call me on it in the past. The Columbian has always known how to get ahold of me, but this is the first communication of any kind that I received on any issues pertaining to my site.
I'm not out to do anything but ensure I get the right information about issues in my Community that I care about; and that is to help educate some of my fellow citizens on things they may need to know before they vote on an issue that affects all of our wallets...
I am presenting these documents here, and locking the thread for comment. That means you can link to it from another thread, but I want these documents to stand all by themselves right here.
Letter from Davis Wright Tremaine LLC, to "Clarkblog.org" (http://www.clarkblog.org/docs/DWTLetter-01Rs.pdf?s=&showtopic=4351&view=findpost&p=28980)
My response to Davis, Wright & Tremaine (http://www.clarkblog.org/docs/Davis Wright Tremaine response letter.doc?s=&showtopic=4351&view=findpost&p=28980)
The most interesting feature of the letter I received from Ms. Earl-Hubbard would be the date it was executed, April 3, 2007.
Please compare that with the romps through clarkblog.org by the troll from the Columbian, previously referred to as "tommytutone" several days later. Tommy didn't even join Clarkblog.org until well after Lou Brancaccio initiated this action.
Again, it is my assertion that responsible corporations do not attempt to resolve their problems like this.
