The topic of the Lincoln Neighborhood Association meeting last night wasn't LRT, but there was a few hints at the elephant in the room.
The Save our Queen group was there handing out buttons and ice cream. They contend that LRT up both Broadway and Main will be too much for Dairy Queen to endure and will close the store. LRT up one or the other is likely to be too much and also lead to closure.
Fliers were also handed out for a neighborhood sponsored forum on LRT, February 20th, 7pm at the Water Resources Center.
There was also a map floating around of the latest plans for LRT, if it were to go north and south on Broadway alone. The plan showed the latest Park and Ride plan, which is apparently 900 spaces in a surface lot.
We're coming down in size, but it's getting uglier and uglier as it does.
