OTTAWA–The Arizona-based company that makes Taser stun guns is developing a new device that is launched from a 12-gauge shotgun and can fire an electric charge from 20 metres away.

The new technology has already led to inquiries from Canadian law enforcement agencies.


I need to warn Louis about this, so he doesn't piss off the wrong Canuckistani Cop on his next smuggling run to B.C. for Cuban cigars...

OBTW...the usual range for a hand-held Tazer is more like 20 feet....20 Meters is quite an increase in range...

Now if we could just forget to warn all of the War Protestors that like to run up to BC and the provincial government needs to take control of the situation, one of those BAD boys, should take the cake!

Just a person who has family up in that area Chief, you might want to impart on Louis AGAIN! to be extra careful when he tries to come across the border with those smokes. He's going to get a person strip search if he does ANY thing stupid. The Rogues up there on the US side just love an excuse to play touchy feely...

And with the AP/National News Media/Television Reporters that LOVE to byline and bee-line right up there for camera shots when there is ever a "BORDER" situation, wouldn't want him to come back with a new pair of wise tails....

That's one of the reasons I encourage him to give that nasty habit up; but I think he gets a thrill out of it, and he loves to rub my nose in the fact that Fidel Castro won't just get it all over with and die...

Should I ask Louis why he liked live dangerously running up and down I-5 with Cubans in his pocket and when he gets pulled over by WSP and they find them, wonder what he's going to say?

Honestly, Fidel will eventually bite the dust in time...
