WA Sec. of State wants Regional prez primaries

Sam Reed is proposing to form a regionalized, national system of presidential primaries so that not one state loses its right of voting because of a few states don't want to follow a political parties wishes or ideas for delegates to its convention. (Think Democrats..)

Here are some of the highlights of what he is proposing:

If a prisoner stationed in a Washington state prison receives a huge damage award for some thing that part or all of it will go to the victim's crime fund.

Tape record all executive sessions of a community government like a county or city and a judge will determine what is admissible.

Making it a crime to view child porn in a cache or temporary cache of a computer. This is to get after a law that was struck down and a prisoner was let because of it. Allow non-police but a person with computer forensics training help with an investigation in such cases.

Protect consumers from land sharks and home owner foreclosures by creating a new pamphlet and other information. Also give them other rights as well.
