Betty Sue Morris, who will be retiring from the Clark County board of commissioners at the end of her second four-year term in December, will deliver the 2008 State of the County Address at 11:45 a.m. Friday, Feb. 8, in the Red Lion Hotel at the Quay. Morris is a former newspaper reporter, public relations executive and Democratic state legislator.
Reservations are required for the luncheon. The cost is $25, except for those who register by Wednesday, Jan. 23, who will be changed $20. For further information and to make reservations, call 397-2232.
