Here we go! The Redskins are gonna get scalped this afternoon up in Seattle; it should be an interesting game for passing, and kicking, considering the major storm that's still coming ashore today. I'm not sure what the weather is supposed to be in Pittsburgh, but that stadium will be full of screaming fanatics tonight, and Jacksonville hasn't got a prayer...

I'm thinking that Manning the Younger will likely kick Tampa Bay out of the running tomorrow; and I'm definitiely backing San Diego over Tennessee.

Great weekend to fire up the stove, and watch good football on the tube!

God Bless Mrs. Trufant's little boy Marcus! WOO HOO!!!

The Seahawks are about to go 28-14 on a 96 yard runback to score off an intercecption by Trufant ate in the Fourth...

This has been quite a game, and according to the halftime stats, Joe gibbs has never lost a game that he lead at halftime. The Skins were ahead 14-13 at halftime, and the Seahawks almost screwed the pooch on the kickoff that opened the half, but they pulled this one off somehow...

Final blowout score: Seahawks 35 Redskins 14.

22 un-answered points, a missed 30 yard field goal, stupid personal foul penalties all conspired to send the Skins home in disgrace, again. Time to move on to Pittsburgh!!

My wife and I are sitting here trying to figure out what it is about Kieth Olberman that makes NBC think he's qualified to talk about football....(or anything else for that matter!).

I can't remember if he used to be a radio announcer for the old Mexican Baseball League, or if he was a barker at a Tijuana whorehouse....or maybe it was both....

He's such a dick with his shippy smartass comments about Matt Hassslebeck; no doubt because Matt and his lovely wife are avowed Conservatives and prominently Republican...

It's sold out in Pittsburgh, rain is forcast, there's a fair amount of wind blowing, and it's cold. But the stadium is filled with what looks like 100,000 bright yellow "Terrible Towels" being swung by fans who have been partying on beer, barbecue, and hot shrimp in the parking lot since dawn...

They take thier football seriously in Pittsburgh, and the fans there are no doubt near a frenzy by now. (Sounds like they are amping up AC/DC's "Thunderstruck" on the PA System...) I'd love to have real numbers on the comparision between lost productivity on Monday in the cities where these games are being played, against the revenues generated by the Pre-Game, Game, and Post-Game festivities...

It's kickoff time for game 2 today, and God be with the Jaguars...

So do those Steelers get "Steelie" eyed during the game? How is the game going?

Pittsburgh is about to go home empty handed as Jacksonville is ahead by 2 points. This has been a really ugly game, with lots of penalties, and lots of sacks.

Pittsburgh just fumbled again and Jacksonville recovers with 20 seconds left to play.
