This story is basically tells why they had to hand fire the fireworks celebration at the Space Needle this year for the New Years celebration. From other news source, it looked like it was out of sync by the hand controlled firings..
The only question that came to my mind was the error in the fireworks data file creating a Blue screen of Death?
They also didn't have a backup, a clear copy or recompiled firing data file that the computer could use. So it basically fell to 3 firing technicians to fire it all off to the music.
