"Three Navy Search and Rescue missions were launched from Naval Air Station Whidbey Island last week to pick up and carry 91 flood-stranded residents of Lewis and Thurston counties to safety, according to a Navy press release.

“It was like an exam right out of our training manuals, and 91 rescues later, we all passed with A’s,” said Lt. Kiersten Whitacre, NAS Whidbey SAR Office"
