The winery's retail and hospitality facilities will remain in or near Woodinville, the company says.

Columbia Winery, one of Woodinville's top tourist draws, will leave its iconic building next year and move its winemaking and bottling operations to Eastern Washington."

Makes sense for them to upgrade their facilities. Thise folks put out some of the most consistently excellent wines in the State. This will likely give them a chance to expand and refine the growing operations on the existing properties as well.

Thought this might be of interest to several of our fine members here at Clarkblog who have a fine interest in wine and vintages. Though I'd say from the article, no every one is happy about them moving..
