Rescue Tug that sits out at Neah Bay helps a stricken oil barge.

This is one of the few times I say YES! to Washington state government for putting a rescue tug out at Neah Bay to take care of problems like this one.

It was the 36th time a rescue tug based at Neah Bay had aided a vessel in distress.

Obviously a great need...

There was some consideration for getting rid of that tug at Neah Bay.. It might have been financial reasons.

Like one said, I think we need to keep that tug there to help if this ever happens again.. I'd hate to an Oil slick or some other interesting disaster hit Straights or off the Washington Coast.
