According to this Seattle Times article, the Chinese are going to need 2500 airline pilots per year for the next two decades to meet the demands of air travel in China and beyond. They are delaying orders of planes and other things until they can train or find enough pilots..

Maybe their problems stem from the fact that they are a bunch of COMMUNISTS...

Nah.. Its not the communistic problem, its just they didn't plane too well. China wants to be a big foreign power but they aren't acting like it so many ways.
There are 1000's of Boeing and Airbus airplanes that are sitting on standby because of this problem. Guess which state has a huge economic interest in making sure that the Chinese actually find and train these Airline Pilots?

I'm more concerned about finding a way to upgrade our US Air Traffic Control System, than how the ChiComms will find enough pilots...

ahh usatc.. :-) Fine piece of 1960's technology.. Shall I call Boeing for an automated GPS sattelite system that flies robotically?
